When and where is the next training?
The Heba Saab Yoga School 300-Hour Professional Yoga Teacher Training is the Spring 2023 program running from March 25 - June 4, 2023. Instructional sessions meet Saturdays & Sundays from 9am – 5:30pm.
This training will take place both online and in-person at HIBS YOGA, located at 2525 W. Horizon Ridge Pkwy, #100, Henderson, NV 89052 (corner of Carnegie & Horizon Ridge).
What style of yoga will I be learning to teach?
Heba has been influenced by many yoga styles, traditions, teachers, and methods for practicing yoga including Ana Forrest, YogaWorks, Iyengar, Ashtanga, Vinyasa, Power Yoga, Yin, Restorative, Kundalini, Sivananda, Jivamukti, Hot Yoga, and many others. This training offers a fusion of yoga styles and the tools to create and customize your own yoga sequences.
The Heba Saab Yoga School teacher training will also help you develop a diversified and highly personal practice for yourself, drawing inspiration from yoga philosophy, anatomy & bio-mechanics, energy work, and the Great Mystery of life.
The intent is to support you in cultivating a unique teaching style that honors your individual perspective on yoga, giving you tools to practice and teach yoga safely and effectively from a place of authenticity.
What instructional topics are covered in the 300-Hour Advanced Teacher Training?
The 300-Hour Professional Yoga Teacher Training Program is a deeply reflective and transformational self-growth process, as well as a 1:1 soul-aligned spiritual life and business coaching immersion.
The program is designed to help teachers uncover and cultivate their individual strengths and interests, while giving them tools, mentorship, and support to create a customized career, which draws on their unique talents, perspectives, and interests in the field of yoga.
Instructional topics include teaching yoga one-on-one and in group class settings, tools for self-management and self care, cultivating seeing and empathing skills, energy work, skillful and consensual hands-on assists, effective instructional cuing, accommodating to perinatal yoga students, modifying the practice for students with injuries or other restrictions, restorative yoga, yoga for beginners, conducting mixed levels classes, advanced asana cuing, yoga anatomy in-depth, including myofascial anatomy and emotional anatomy, class themeing and sequencing, business of yoga, and much much more!

What if I don't want to teach yoga?
There are many students who participate in yoga teacher training programs for personal development, and have no intention of teaching yoga at all.
Whether or not you plan to teach yoga after training, yoga teacher training is one of most beautiful gifts you can give to yourself. It is an investment in your personal growth, an exploration and realization of your full potential self.
The yoga teacher training journey is so deeply powerful, that it will inevitably transform your life and raise the energetic frequency of those around you.
The pre-requisite for the 300-Hour Advanced Yoga Teacher Training is successful completion of a 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training program from a Registered Yoga School (RYS), and at least 1 year of yoga teaching experience.
To apply for the 300-Hour Advanced Yoga Teacher Training fill out and submit a 300-Hour Advanced YTT Application Form. Upon review, a program facilitator will contact you regarding the status of your application and Heba will set up an interview with you either by phone or in person.
Once accepted into the program, you will be directed to pay a non-refundable $1,799 for the 300-Hour Program. The non-refundable deposit is due upon acceptance to the program, and is required to secure your spot in the training.
How do I apply?
Teacher Training runs every weekend for 3 consecutive months, with 2 weekends off within that timeframe. Each session begins with chanting, meditation, and reflective journaling process. Students will also participate in themed asana yoga practices for 2.5 hours. After practice, there is a 90-min break for students to shower, eat, and prepare for afternoon session. Lecture topics will cover the guidelines outlined by the Yoga Alliance Standards for 300-Hour Professional Yoga Teacher Trainings.
Students in the 300-Hour Program will also be scheduling 6 Deep Dive 1:1 Spiritual Life & Business Coaching Sessions with the lead trainer spread out over the duration of the program, to work on specific goals with their practice and yoga business.
Additional requirements to be met during the week include stepping into leadership by conducting weekly mentor meetings for the 200-Hour trainees, assisting, observing, and practicing in classes led by teacher training mentors, and completing (OM)Work Assignments throughout the week, including pre-recorded teaching modules, to supplement the instructional themes. This program includes a build-your-own schedule component.

How much does the training cost?
The full price of the 300-Hour Advanced Yoga Teacher Training is $5,399, which includes a deposit of $1,799. Once the full tuition is paid, teacher training candidates can begin taking unlimited yoga classes at HIBS YOGA until the end of the last training month to supplement and prepare for the training. We recognize that you have other financial responsibilities. Our compassionate program facilitators are here to support you and ensure your participation in the program by helping you find ways to make the cost work with your budget.
What happens if I miss one of the training sessions?
To receive a certificate of completion, candidates must complete all of the training requirements. In the event of an emergency, unforeseen circumstance, or unavoidable conflict, options are available on a case-by-case basis for making up missed sessions and completing the program requirements. Make up sessions cost $100, and each session covers approximately 2-3 hours of material. To make the most of your experience in the training, prioritize your commitment to yourself and to the training by attending all of the scheduled sessions and completing all additional requirements on time.
What is included in the cost of training?
The tuition fee includes private mentorship with the lead trainer (6 one-on-one Deep Dive Spiritual Life & Business Coaching Sessions) for a high level of support with your practice and yoga business, two comprehensive teacher training manuals, one for yoga and one for anatomy & physiology, full participation in the teacher training program and all training workshops, including anatomy & physiology, yoga business, diet & nutrition, Yoga Nidra meditation, inversions, backbends, and arm balancing workshops, aromatherapy, voice & movement exploration, and other workshops with guest instructors and master teachers, access to a private Facebook Group for current trainees, full participation in community building events for Heba’s Horses (previous graduates), as well as, membership to all classes at HIBS YOGA (in person and online) for the duration of the training. Upon completion of all training requirements, graduates receive a certificate that can be used as official documentation to register with Yoga Alliance as a 300-Hour Advanced Yoga Teacher (RYT 500).
How much experience practicing yoga is required to participate in the program?
To participate in the 300-Hour Advanced Yoga Teacher Training, participants must have a certificate of completion from a 200-Hour Registered Yoga School (RYS 200), and at least 1 year of teaching experience. What is Yoga Alliance?
Yoga Alliance® is an internationally recognized organization founded in 1999, which registers yoga teachers and yoga schools in order to maintain certain standards in the yoga industry. The credentials that Yoga Alliance has set up for yoga teachers and yoga schools establish criteria for fairness, quality, competence, and safety in professional services provided by schools and individuals who teach yoga. Currently, there is no formal licensing procedure required to teach yoga as a profession in the United States. Yoga Alliance is the premier form of recognition given to a yoga teacher or yoga school in order to uphold the integrity of the yoga tradition. Heba Saab is a RYS® (Registered Yoga School), which provides a 200-hour training program that meets Yoga Alliance standards for certification. Graduates of this training program may register with Yoga Alliance to be listed on their website as an RYT-200 (Registered Yoga Teacher) for a nominal fee. Will I be qualified to teach yoga after completing this training?
The program is designed to give you all the tools you need to safely and effectively teach yoga. What you put into this program is what you get out of it. After completing all program requirements, including 1:1 coaching, group instructional & practice sessions, (OM)Work assignments, mentor meetings, assisting/observing hours, exams, and full tuition payment, you will receive a Certificate of Completion from Heba Saab verifying your successful completion of the Heba Saab Yoga School 300-Hour Yoga Teacher Training Program at HIBS YOGA. You may use this official document to register with Yoga Alliance at the 300-Hour level as a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT-500). Yoga Alliance is internationally recognized for maintaining industry standards for yoga teachers and yoga schools. Many yoga studios, gyms, and fitness centers require their teachers to have a current Yoga Alliance registration.
